Skilful, caring practitioners, ensure secure relationships are formed, building connections and helping children to settle into nursery life and are kept safe at all times. Our hygge setting has a calm relaxed feel to the play spaces with areas for children to retreat and get comfortable or cosy. Well-appointed twinkly lights add a sense of awe and wonder, curiosity, excitement and artificial light is kept to a minimum. The hygge approach supports attachment, parental security and careful transitions to meet individual child’s needs on entry, when moving between rooms and when moving on. We understand that mindfulness and mental health young children is crucial in early brain development, and this underpins our hygge approach.
